Hello everyone! Two days ago, NovUM had its first info evening of the academic year. Due to the current sanitary situation, we could not book a suitable room for the event. We thus decided to do it in the Stadspark and took the opportunity to offer you drinks and snacks. The evening was lovely. We were excited to meet our members, we enjoyed great chats together over nice refreshments and foods, and one of the main goals of our evening was met: people came to ask about NovUM, they left with flyers, and some of them have already become members! We want to thank everyone for coming and making this event nice and welcoming. This info evening illustrated the great vibes our community has. See you very soon!

Last year, we were running for the Faculty Council FHML. As representatives of NovUM, we are proud to be part of Maastricht’s most active student party and to be able to play an important role in improving your student life. With 15 years of experience and being the only party active at each faculty, we truly represent every student of UM in the University Council. For many years we have seen a lack of study spaces at our university. Now that the Tapijn area has been acquired by UM, a strong focus should be placed on creating additional study spaces. Hey NovUMers! Today our guest is Martin. He has been with us since 2015 and had a tremendous contribution to our party. Before coming to Maastricht he studied International Relations in Groningen. After that he was looking for something social and yet intellectual to do. Upon arriving in Maastricht he went out in search for it and found some of our older members at an information market. He clicked with the team right away and proceeded to join NovUM. Martin’s contribution to our association has been tremendous.
