Together with the Student Council of FPN, we are proud to tell you that we managed to arrange microwaves to be present at Randwyck! On Saturday the 11th of March, NovUM Maastricht will provide you with a delicious brunch at the Ma van Sloun: A perfect fresh and healthy alternative to just having cereal! And the best thing is, you support charity by eating this amazing brunch, all profit goes to Ragweek Maastricht!

Vastelaovend (=Carnival) is just around the corner! Despite the festivities only officially beginning upcoming sunday, you will already be able to party tonight! Put on a crazy costume, mingle with the crowd and have a beer (or 2, or 3 etc.) ! Since some of us here at NovUM will also be joining the party and others will be taking a well deserved break from work, it might take us a little bit longer to respond to your messages the next few days. NovUM is one of the big student representation parties with students in the University Council. In this council, university wide policy, problems and ideas are discussed. Sustainability is one of our four pillars that we truly focus on. Besides major plans that we support in the University Council, namely the UM sustainability Roadmap 2030, you can also make a difference yourself! UM wide recycling is about to be implement! Sustainability is one of NovUMs pillars and we will always push for policy which is sustainable. What else do you think we should do to improve sustainability at our University?    

This year only 35,5% of new students at our University had Dutch nationality. The University would like this number to go up to 40-50% next year.
